Who this is for

You do not need to see yourself in every line. One is enough.

  • You already have a paid Claude plan and want the configuration that makes it dependable.
  • You spend your week producing written business work: updates, reports, proposals, and correspondence.
  • You produce status summaries, meeting outputs, and stakeholder communication on a rhythm.
  • You want a plain-English way into your own spreadsheets and long documents.
  • You have used Claude occasionally and want it to know your work rather than starting fresh each morning.
  • You are evaluating Claude for business use and want a clear picture of what it does well.

And who it is not for

  • Your organization runs on Microsoft rather than Claude. Take the Microsoft Copilot Business Productivity Accelerator™ instead.
  • You are new to AI entirely. AI for Everyone Foundations™ is the better starting point and costs less.
  • You want a shared workspace your whole team runs on. That is Claude Projects & Business Brain Builder™.
  • You want to build automations that run without you. That is the AI Workflow & Automation Accelerator™.

The promise

In one day you configure Claude to understand your business context, learn a professional prompting method that produces work-quality output on the first attempt, build routines that run every week, connect Claude to the tools where your work already happens, and measure what the day returned in your own numbers.

Configuration, not just technique

Most Claude training teaches prompting and stops there. Prompting matters, and it is the second block of this day. What it leaves out is the part that turns a capable assistant into something that knows your work, which is why so many people find themselves explaining their business again every morning.

Ninety minutes of this course go to Projects, context files, memory, and Skills. Everything built in the afternoon runs against what you configure there.

A chat assistant
A digital coworker
Starts empty every morning.
Holds your context, your standards, and your voice.
You explain your business again each time.
Explained once, applied to everything after.
Whatever comes back is whatever comes back.
Output produced to a standard you set.
You remember to use it, or you do not.
Routines run on a rhythm you set.
Lives in a browser tab you switch to.
Reaches the files and tools where your work already happens.
You guess whether it saved time.
You can state what one real task cost before, and what it costs now.

Three recurring tasks from your own week run through every block, so what you build is yours from the first session rather than a demonstration you adapt afterward.

What you will be able to do

Specific, because a buyer approving this wants to know precisely what you return able to do.

  • Use Claude to produce work-quality outputs from the first prompt, reducing revision cycles and increasing confidence in the results.
  • Judge the reliability of a Claude response and know when an answer is ready to use, when it needs refinement, and when it should be challenged.
  • Configure Claude to understand your business context using Projects, knowledge files, memory, and Skills, so it works more like a trained teammate than a chat tool.
  • Write context and Skill files in markdown, so Claude reads structure reliably and the files can be edited, shared, and improved over time.
  • Use Claude to analyze documents, research, spreadsheets, and complex information, reaching decisions faster and with less manual effort.
  • Integrate Claude into existing workflows and tools through connectors, MCP, Artifacts, browser workflows, and productivity applications.
  • Build repeatable Claude-powered routines that create consistent value every day and every week.
  • Apply security and data practices, review outputs effectively, and measure the business impact of your work.

Where you will use it

The three tasks you bring usually come from one of these. You choose which.

Communication

Updates, briefings, difficult messages, and client correspondence, with tone adjusted for the reader.

Documents

Long-document interrogation, version comparison, restructuring, and first drafts from source material.

Reporting

Status summaries, variance narratives, KPI commentary, and the documents you produce every month.

Research

Sourced synthesis across notes, reports, and search results, with citations you can open and check.

Data

Spreadsheet questions in plain English, what moved, what looks unusual, and the narrative that goes with it.

Client and proposal work

Methodology sections, scoping documents, and client-ready deliverables in your own voice.

Confidence in what you send

  • The ninety-second review: accuracy, completeness, tone, sensitivity, and business fit.
  • Which information is appropriate to use, which needs approval first, and who decides.
  • What a connector grants access to, and reviewing that before switching one on.
  • Prompt injection in plain terms, and the habit that guards against it.
  • Human review checkpoints for client-facing, financial, HR, legal, and regulated work.
  • Internal acceptable-use alignment, with NIST AI RMF named as a voluntary US reference.
  • Noting AI assistance where it matters, and where it makes no difference.

This course does not provide legal, records, compliance, or cybersecurity certification, and it does not certify an organization as compliant. It teaches professionals to recognize when to consult a specialist, and which specialist that is.

Questions

How long is the day?

Six and a half hours, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM Eastern, with two short breaks and a thirty-minute lunch.

What do I need before the day?

A paid Claude plan, three recurring tasks from your own week, and one real document. Pre-work takes about twenty-five minutes and includes an access check two weeks out.

Why is a paid plan required?

Projects and connectors are part of a paid plan, and most of the afternoon is spent configuring them. We confirm this two weeks ahead so nobody arrives unable to build.

Do I need to be technical?

No. There is no coding in this course. Markdown takes ten minutes to learn and is the only technical-looking thing in the day.

Do I need experience with Claude?

None. This is the entry point to the Claude path, and the room is usually a mix of first-time and occasional users.

Will I work on my own material?

Yes. The three tasks you bring run through every block. A neutral document pack is available if your organization restricts what you can upload.

What is markdown and why does it matter?

Plain text with a few simple marks that create structure. Context files and Skills are written this way because Claude reads the structure reliably and the files can be edited by anyone, anywhere.

Do you cover Claude Cowork?

Yes, as a demonstration. You see what it is, how it works with files and connected tools, and where it fits, with no installation required.

Is the session recorded?

Yes, and it is yours for ninety days. You may also retake the course free within twelve months.

Does this carry PDUs?

The day provides 6.5 structured learning hours you may self-report to PMI through CCRS. Novativ AI Academy is not a PMI Authorized Training Partner, hours are not automatically reported, and acceptance is at PMI's discretion.

How is this different from Business Brain Builder?

This course configures Claude for your own work. That one builds a shared workspace a whole team runs on, with governed sources, encoded standards, and a named owner. Many people take both, and they are available together at a combined rate.

Can you run this privately for our team?

Yes, delivered on your date and built around your own documents and workflows.
